Churchinford is a village in eastern Devon, in the parish of Churchstanton, though Churchstanton itself is a mere hamlet a mile and a half to the north-west. The village is in the area of the Blackdown Hills, which rise in earnest along the county border to the north. Six roads meet in the centre of the village.
The uppermost reach of the River Otter, which here marks the border with Somerset, is just over half a mile to the west.
