Bells Yew Green is a rural village in Sussex gathered around Frant Railway Station, a mile and a half east of Frant village itself. It is a mile south of the border of Kent, flopping over which is the townscape of Royal Tunbridge Wells, two miles north-west of Bells Yew Green.
Just to the west, halfway to Frant, is Ely Grange, a modest country estate.
