Dalradian metamorphic Meall and Leacach form a ridge and hill directing the stream to the Bhig and Shee Water by motion west and north of west before the tributary meets the south moving stream below Cairnwell I understand the area has lizards (skink?) NO1773 Lis Burke, while Mid Wales (once slake lime enriched farm soils, UCW Aberystwyth harbour lime kilns imported materials) have been investigated for lizard migration related to lime enriched soils in pond trials
