Thorncross is a small hamlet in the south-west of the Isle of Wight, Hampshire, on a lane north of the A3055 coastal road.
The hamlet is close to the south coast of the island, in the region of the island known as the 'Back of the Wight', near the hamlets of Yafford, Limerstone and the village of Brighstone.
