Fogo Priory was a Tironensian monastic community in Berwickshire until the Refomation. Today in the grounds of the priory stands the parish church, a church built in 1683 or thereabouts.[1]
Thr priory was founded at some time between 1253 and 1297 by a local landlord named Patrick Corbet, who granted lands to Kelso Abbey in order to establish a cell there. The foundation was dedicated to St Nicholas. Only two of the Priors of Fogo are known.
